I read the bok "The boy in the striped pyjamas. It is written by the
author John Boyne and he is also the creator of "Pojken som svävade"
The
book is about a nine-year old Bruno ho moves to out-with with his
family away from Berlin. The family was moving out because Brunos father
is designated as the commandat. When Bruno comes to his new house he
thinks it is very boring to be there and wnts to get back to hes friends
in Berlin. But after some days Bruno realise that there is a fence
white people that does have striped pyjamas. Bruno has a big interest in
exploring but in his new house it is not so many funny things to
explore. Until one day when bruno goes on exploring and finds a new
friend. But not a normal friend. He is a jew.
Bruno is a
little boy that is very curios and love to explore things. Bruno does
not know so much about the world. That some people doesn't have five
floors in their house. And that they dont get so much food everyday.
Brunos father is a mysterious man ho i think is little bit evil. He works for the nacist witch makes him a very bad person. Brunos father does not give so much attention to his children but he give a lot of energy in to his job. Gretel and Brunos mom cant decide so much about the family. The father does have the highest voice.
Gretel is Brunos sister. Gretel plays with dolls but when they get a new private teacher in there new house Gretel changes shes interests really much.
The authors language is pretty easy to understand. He uses some difficult words but if you read the sentence over and over you will understand. The book is for the most chronological but some times there is some flashbacks. I was understanding all of the flashbacks because it was really clear.
I think that this book want to say to the people that the thing that Hitler and the nascist did was really wrong. Everything that they did in the concentration camp was so terrible and this is good because we get to now how it was for the jews in the old days.
I wan to give this book a 10/10. This was the best english book i have ever read because the act and the personalitys in the book. I do hardly recommend this book to you! :)
